Six Month Smiles uses tooth-coloured fixed brackets focused on the front teeth – useful when a faster cosmetic improvement is the goal rather than a full bite correction. Dr Joy will recommend the right system at consultation.
Can clear aligners fix crowded teeth or an overbite?
In many cases, yes – aligners can correct mild to moderate crowding, spacing, overbite, underbite, and crossbite. More complex skeletal cases may need referral to a specialist. The smile gallery shows treated cases.
At what age can children start orthodontic treatment?
Most aligner treatment begins from around 12 or 13, once the adult teeth are largely through. Children’s check-ups are free for under-12s when a parent is also seen.
